DESCRIPTION

Look like a very large grapefruit but not a hybrid of the grapefruit. It has a thick skin and with a pinkish to yellow flesh.

BUYING AND STORAGE

Look for yellow skinned Pomelo that feels heavy for its size. Avoid dry and wrinkly skin and because of the thickness of the skin Pomelo can be store for a long time in the refrigerator. If cut, use as soon as possible.

PREPARATION AND USE

Cut in half and scoop out the flesh or peel. Great for the health conscious and can be used for fruit salad.
