A tiny pod about 5-7cm long. Sweet and juicy flavour
with bright green colour and round seed.
 | HISTORY AND ORIGIN

Seeds of the peas were found dating back 5000 years to the
Bronze age in a Swiss Lake. The main origin appears to be in Asia.
 | BUYING AND STORAGE
|
Choose firm, crisp, shiny green pods that are well filled
with Green Peas. Avoid limpidness and wrinkle. Refrigerated,
wrap in plastic bags and will last up to 3 days.
 | PREPARATION AND USE
|
Wash pods, depends on the varieties of the peas, some pods
can be eaten. Use in salads, soups, casseroles, stir-fry and
steam.
