A small round fruit with a rough leathery scaly skin which is red to yellow in
colour depending on variety. The flesh is transparent with a shiny brown seed. It is sweet
and juicy and it taste like grapes.

Native to Asia and have been cultivated in China for thousands of years.
 | BUYING AND STORAGE
|
Select small round Lychee with moist looking skin. Avoid dry skin.
Store Lychee in refrigerator, wrapped in plastic and will keep up to 2 weeks if the
stems have been removed. It will keep more than 1 months if the stems are still intact.
 | PREPARATION AND USE

Wash and peel the skin with a knife, eat fresh. Good for fruit salad, ice cream,
dessert and can be used in Asian sweet and sour dishes.
