DESCRIPTION

Lemons look like an egg-shape fruit with a pointed tip at one end. The colour yellow varies from light to bright gold. The rind are hard.

BUYING AND STORAGE

Choose smooth-skinned Lemons that are firm and heavy for their size with thin skin. Avoid shrivelled skin and discoloured lemon.
Refrigerate lemon in vegetable crisper and will keep up to 3 weeks.

PREPARATION AND USE

To increase juice , roll lemon on a table or squeeze around it before cutting or squeezing for juice. Use in drinks, marinades, sauce, and cooking.
